ADHD Conference for Parents, Young Adults and Professionals Overview

Attend one or both of the morning presentations by the national ADHD authorities for $15 each. If space is available for afternoon sessions, the price is $15 for each afternoon.

Young adults who attend the special breakouts sessions planned for them can attend the conference for $30 each day.

ADHD professionals

can attend the morning presentation and the afternoon advanced seminars with the national ADHD authorities for $125 each day. CEs/ CMEs are $25 additional.

Headlining this 2-day event are two national authorities and top physicians, psychologists, therapists, coaches, professional organizers, and other ADHD specialists who will lead dozens of presentations. While the ADHD professionals attend the advanced seminars in the afternoon, everyone else has the choice to attend over 20 breakout sessions. We have something for parents, young adults (ages 15-25), teachers and professionals. Download a conference flier to give to colleagues, family and friends. Special Sessions for Young Adults

For the Saturday breakout sessions, spend time with Don Baker, MA, ADHD therapist discussing, "AD/HD and Relationships:“I just don’t get them!” He will get you talking about your concerns—what you don't know, what you think you know, and what you need to know. Following this, spend the next 90 minutes with Dr. Ted Mandelkorn, a developmental pediatrician who has been diagnosing and treating kids with ADHD for over 25 years. He will answers your questions about medications and what role they play in your ADHD treatment. On Sunday, the 15-18 year olds can attend two sessions created especially for them—Self-Advocacy and Transition Planning—i.e. What Comes After High School. The special sessions for college students on Sunday will feature Victoria Ball, ADHD coach who specializes in working with college age students. Her topics will be "Tips for College Success" and "Career Planning for ADD College Students."

Don't miss this opportunity! Each day's major presenter will offer a 3-hour afternoon seminar designed specifically for AD/HD professionals. These sessions will not duplicate morning material, and attendees can suggest topics when they register. Additional fees apply

Continuing Education

Up to 11 CMEs/CEs are available for family physicians, social workers, mental health counselors, family therapists and psychologists as well as 11 credit hours from the NBCC; and 11 clock hours for school personnel. Additional fees apply. Be sure to select these items when you register for the conference.

Daily Schedule at a Glance

Each morning, all conference participants will gather in the auditorium for the 2.5-hour major presentation (9:00-10:15 a.m., 10:45 a.m.-12:00 noon). After lunch on your own, choose from over 20 breakout sessions offered in various classrooms during the early afternoon (1:30-3:00 p.m.) and late afternoon (3:30-5:00 p.m.) time periods. These 1.5–hour sessions focus on specific topics and allow for group interaction.
